Whales started as one design with Lighthouse, I loved the idea of showing a storm battering this beacon of light - and the vast calmness of the sea creatures underneath the swirling waters. 
When I realised I should split the design into two - so that the sea creatures could be seen in their entirety - otherwise if the whales were only at the bottom half of the wrap, they wouldn’t be visible in 99% of the carries when being used 😭
SO, back to the drawing board. I knew I wanted a shoal of fish. But I also wanted some Orcas with their babies too.
I mostly draw in warm colours on black background, because I’m prone to migraines.
